Ruben
Mendez
Ruben Mendez has 15+ years of experience coaching athletes and everyday people alike—from youth and elite competitors to adults and seniors.
His coaching is grounded in kettlebells, movement, calisthenics, clubbells, and tactical conditioning, with a strong emphasis on durability, joint health, and real-world strength. Influenced by the methods and philosophy of Michael Boyle, he prioritizes smart programming, movement quality, and long-term performance over ego lifting.
As co-owner of Calle Strength House and head coach, Ruben leads the coaching team and sets the standard for how training is delivered inside the gym.
